Throughout the week, I have learned how to film a one-shot story. I have also leaned how to edit the video by adding text and music. I have also watched Paper Towns, directed my Jake Schreier and i really enjoyed it. I also wrote my own story about two boys going up a mountain to find a dead body and escape a killer they didnt know was there.
How has this venture into creativity... seeing, creating, and doing the technical side of creative film making framed your thinking about acting and directing?
When i watch movies or TV shows, it seems like the actors and directors always have something to do, and when they do it, they always have fun.
This week we demonstrated how to use our creative and original ideas and works of art to increase the complexity of the film to reflect the feelings and the point of view.
i do agree, very good observation c:
The most frustrating thing about editing is trying to use the typography and the special effects on the words. The most helpful thing is to be able to snap the clips together instead of zooming in and connecting them manually. I think my biggest success was the commercial because i think its funny and i'm proud of my work. This experience will help in my future when i would want to make some funny videos.
Film is its own unique language because you can make it exactly how you want it to be. And when you make a film, you create a reaction that could be different for each individual person who watches it. Once you create that film, you cant decide if people like it or not, so its up to you to make it as best as you can.
My view on Metropolis showed me that just because the movie is old and has no sound doesn't mean they are bad. Montage theory can change a view on a film to show different items or faces to show what is going on in the film. In the future a montage would be very useful to the audience to show what is happening. Filming and the planning ahead of time for me has become more sophisticated than earlier in the term.
I like the way you describe a film as unique language and like that you're really funny.
I like your app logo
I like the way Larz perceives the art of film by saying how it is unique and it can show characters emotions and physical traits. I also like how Christian T. says that the art of film is a language that doesnt need words, rather actions and emotions from the characters.
You're really good at editing
Shut up nerd.
My insight about college is that it is a necessity to get a good job and a good salary to be able to take care of myself.
Using the studio made the film look much more professional and having props helped us set the scene.
Lord of The Rings was pretty suspenseful at some points like in the 3rd film when Frodo was being chased by the giant spider Shelob. The scenery and lighting were very ominous and scary which set the suspenseful mood.
The most recent shoot for the music video was fun because the song we chose, Cannibal Shia LaBeouf, was pretty creepy.
"best film" you make good vids pal.
Best Actor because of your comedic acting style.
I nominate you for best actor for being funny
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
