This week was fun to me, I really enjoyed going out and filming I wanna do more, and it was great to do my project with my friends. Then when we got the video we wanted we had to edit and i had the most fun there, ill probably regret saying that later in the year but hey its really fun right now. Our homework is to watch a movie with the eye of a director, I really should buy Netflix or Hulu because i normally don't watch movies at home, but ill do it i mean how hard can it be???? (its probably gonna be hard..) Overall this class is my favorite, i originally took this class to learn how to edit i wanna be a Youtuber or something im not too sure, sure making my way to the top wont be easy but with some funny edits i can be c:
I'm glad you're enjoying your work in the class and can see direct links to some life goals like making an impact on YouTube. What skills do you want to focus on right now that you believe will move you in an even more direct way toward this goal?
I don't know i wanna keep a good consistency with my editing and having fun with it ya know?
I chose A2.2 "Demonstrate personal style and advanced proficiency in communicating an idea,
theme, or emotion in an industry-relevant artistic product."
because i did get to show personal emotion and artistic style i like the fun and happy stuff and i feel like i really got that sure some are waaay better at this than i am but im not worried psssh, and for my next one i chose
A1.3 "Describe the use of the elements of art to express mood in digital or traditional art
work found in the commercial environment." Although commercials are really obnoxious 98% of the time (to me) i see that its kinda hard to get your image with someone else doing the acting but i think its funny to have mess ups and that adds to funny (depends on what happens) then BAM full circle :^)
- most frustrating, timing is pretty hard but fun
- most helpful, just getting inspired helps really
- biggest success, i really like my edits
- how will this help you, i think this will help me learn how to edit if i ever do, do youtube (haha doodoo) so i dont look like a complete dweeb.
Your edits are really funny.
THanks HomE SliC3
I feel as if film is a language that doesn't need words because with film a series if shots and events are happening so you can make it up for your self. When an event happens in film you use that to connect the story line. I like how film can have its own tone some can be happy some can be sad its really interesting.
- I am really into the whole old school kind of thing ya know i like how they made sets and their ideas.
- It helps create/tell a story.
- I don't know if i am but if i am i just will show things to let the audience know what is happening because i may understand but they may not
- i think writing it out first helps make ideas, filming hasn't changed but i do like having a lot of shots and angles, editing hasn't changed much
i'm glad that you like to write things out first and you're funny as well.
I wanna go there i mean i really don't have many talents but i am creative... BUTT now i face the challenge of choosing what i wanna do.
It was different we used more props we used artificial lighting but there was no people in the back ground or noise so that was cool
I see that styles have names and the origin of like SAD stuff but its really cool THANKS ITALY! but since i have ADV drama i see those characters in film and its easy to pick out characters
Hitchcock is know as the Master of Suspense. Recall in detail a time when you felt a film had you most on edge--- either scared, excited, distressed, or passionate. What do you remember from the film itself (text, lighting, sound, set-up) that you believe made it truly effective? As a film maker yourself, what emotions do you think you'd be best at effecting in your audience and how do you imagine you would go about doing it?
I don't know on particular film but i know a few shows or something where something was reviled and first it would play spooky music then the silence of the character the floorboards creaking then BAM! SOMEONE DIES!!! i think a feeling of hopelessness like how in a video game you cant attack most of the enemies you feel hopeless and all you can do is run that's a good emotion to have
it was fun but my style is more story telling but i guess it depends on the song i feel like most metal songs are symbolic but that doesn't mean they cant tell a sweet story
"Best Director/Actor" for being the best.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
